WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Welcome to my blog. Thanks for logging in.

“For single mums only” blog has been created to identify and meet the needs of the single mother. The blog is designed in such a way that issues that have plagued the single mother from time immemorial are addressed, which in turn brings hope and healing to her that has been beaten down badly by vicissitudes of life.
The single mother is one whose plight has often been trivialized and looked down upon. She hurts badly by the blows that life has dealt her and what she really needs is someone and something to trigger hope in her again to turn on the light of opportunity, that will bring her out of her broken shell and make her shine all the way to fulfilling her purpose in life.
This blog will in no doubt encourage the single mum, and give her the answers she so desperately needs and has been searching for. We implore you to enjoy the reading ride, and hang in there no matter what! Stay with us………

Hurray! My son Evezi Jason turns ten today.  I’m so glad and elated that I have been given the privilege and opportunity by God to witness this occasion. Some might say “what’s the big deal?”
Oh, it’s a very big deal indeed! I have been a single mum now for ten years, and it has been a very long, arduous and challenging journey. Nevertheless, it has also been very rewarding and eventful.
I thank God that I’m a mother, even if the circumstances which surround my motherhood seem abnormal to the ‘norm’. I still strongly believe that God has a unique plan for every child born whether out of wedlock, being brought up in a broken home or just a plain orphan! God has a unique plan for everyone on the face of this planet, and I hope that through this blog, as every single mother rides along with me and dares to confront herself with courage, boldness and sincerity, we all will be able to adventure into a land of new discoveries-self discovery in God’s eyes and in the light of His Word and thus, be able to fulfill His ultimate plan for our lives.
Note: The single dads are also welcome on board too!
