As a single mother, there are in-depth
issues that have plagued you and still remain a problem. And until you take the
bull by the horn and say to yourself, “this has got to stop “, and take
responsibility for your mistakes, the truth is, you will never rise above your
limitations and become all that God wants you to be. One very profound way that

Giving is a simple spiritual
principle that triggers the abundant blessings of the Almighty God. And when I talk
about giving, I’m not only referring to money only. You can give your time and
talents to the service of God and humanity. You can give encouragement to
someone who is hurting; being kind and compassionate to your neighbor is
giving. And one thing we all should know is that, “It is more blessed to give
than to receive”. Therefore, there are actual blessings that erupt in your life
when you give.

has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever;
his horn will be lifted high in honor (Psalm 112:5-9). From this passage of scripture,
it is clearly seen, that for you to experience the outright blessings of God,
you have to be an ardent giver. One of the blessings you receive when you give is
healing. Healing simply means restoration. This means that what ever you lost
in the past is restored back to you even in a greater measure. The more you
give of your money, time, love, talents, encouragement, compassion, kindness
etc., the more you get of the things you give. As time goes on, you find out
that you are no longer hurting from the pain that you once knew; you have joy

than I could ever imagine. Down trodden in pain and uncertainty, I never
envisaged that the simple act of giving to God, His work, charity, my neighbors
in need, encouraging the lost, showing kindness and compassion, was what I needed
to be free.

kind to the poor lends to the Lord and he will reward him for what he has done.
The reward could be in any form; it could be financial, material, physical
healing, emotional healing, and every good thing that will make you whole and
cause you to bask in the will of God, as you fulfill your purpose here on
earth. Giving actually is life. It prolongs your life. Have you ever wondered
why it is called the Dead Sea? Because this great ocean does not have
tributaries. Other rivers flow into it,
but it does not give or flow into other water bodies. Thus, it is named the “Dead
sea”. Likewise we as human beings, bubble with life and increase when we are
generous, but we become impoverished in every sense of the word when we do not
cultivate the habit of giving. Be generous with your life.
